Q2 2024 iOS Film & Television App Insights in the US

In Q2 of 2024, the Film & Television category on the iOS platform saw varied performance among top apps in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Disney+ experienced a gradual decrease in revenue, starting the quarter with $434K and ending at $265K. Downloads showed a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter, from 4.3K to 3.3K, while weekly active users showed a slight decline, ending at 126K from an initial 144K.

Netflix followed a similar revenue trend, starting at $89K and climbing to a peak of $96K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a high of 3.7K in late April and a recovery to 3.3K by the quarter's end. The app's weekly active users saw a decline from 342K to 309K during the same period.
